Will be staying at VoliVoli but then Taveuni. Really want a/c. My question is about Sau Bay. SO many glowing trip advisors reviews but none here. Does anyone here have first hand experience at Sau Bay Resort since mid 2024? Thanks in advance.

Yes, we stayed recently. It’s a beautiful setting but the operations are a bit disorganized, including the diving. I’m happy to answer specific questions about the resort based on my stay.

Thanks very much. Was nervous about that. Doesn't sound appealing. Has been 3 years almost with the new ownership. Really wish TDR had A/C. AM thinking maybe end of March won't be blisteringly hot there.

I have friends that stayed at TDR the first week of April and said it was comfortable in the Bures at night with fans as the temp was mid 70s. It just depends on your tolerance for the heat and humidity.
