You can try sticking your feet in plastic bags to keep any sweat "confined". If there's still water in your boots on the outside of the boots, you'll have your answer.

"Soaked" seems like a lot from sweat, although if it's a trilam suit, condensation will form throughout the suit and may be running down into your feet. It does seem a little unlikely that both boots would be leaking in a new suit.

So... Elephant in the room...

WHAT ON EARTH is it with Americans and their COTTON socks???
What do you mean? You don't use cotton for socks (non-diving)? It's a comfortable and inexpensive material.

More comfortable than polyester, less expensive than merino.

I got my drysuit in the summer time. After a few pool sessions I was convinced it was leaking - I got it used. It took 2 cans of beer and an AL80 to convince me otherwise. Put the beer cans in the wrist seals, put the AL80 in the neck seal. Attach first stage to AL80, attach inflator hose to drysuit. Inflate. Spray suspected area with mixture of soap and water. Look for bubbles.

I found none. Upon diving when it was cooler out - so no sweat before or after the dive - I was bone dry.

2 cans of beer will get you through most things in life it seems

Very Cool Thanks for the help.

I will check for leaks but sounds like it was probably just sweat or condensation.

As far as the warmth goes - I felt the same amount of cold as I did in my wet suit - except that I was dry. I am going to try a thicker undergarment.

I'll see how is goes on the next couple of dives.
What undergarments are you using? You can try adding a merino wool base layer for a little extra warmth and better wicking.

Put a pee valve in each boot, and let us know how it works.

For diving? Never...
For work... Never...
When I think of it... No...
Luckily I can get really nice thin merino socks for summer and winter use. Even ankle socks that are perfect for longer runs.
But... Norway has a bit of a thing with wool... (its cold here...)

But... I was speaking of cotton for diving.

Merino and synthetics working/biking/running/diving here in New England.
Cotton is for undershirts.
