I am looking into purchasing a used Mares Regulator V12 XL from my local dive shop. I would appreciate any comments or feedback.

Thank You

The V12 uses the replacable orifice in the first stage. This can be upgraded to the superior spherical core seal system if you so desire. The second stage is a rebadged Akros. If the condition is very good or better, then it would be a fair deal if the price is less than $150 or so.

My GF has been using one for a while, and she likes it. It becomes a bit prone to freeflow when water temp goes below 45, though. Mind you, this could just be a tweaking issue...
