Favorite Fish to See?

I like the feisty damsels, graceful angelfish pair and the rainbow parrotfish which as a newb would lovingly refer to as the David Bowie fish.

It's frogfish for me. They just fascinate me, so I will spend spend in inordinate amount of time watching them (when I can find them).

A Great Hammerhead encounter here in Florida is one one my favorites. I have had 6 in Boynton Beach in 12 years. These are not shark dive/baited or feeding dives. One brief encounter was with Mr Lobster, @Johnoly

These, once saw 5 on a dive to Wolf Rock, one was the size of a small car, well may be not a Mini, but massive.
And a Grey Nurse shark under a thermocline at 30m on the same dive.

Lionfish make me smile when I think of them on my plate at La Perlita in Coz.

I remember the first time I saw one, in the Pacific, before they became an invasive species in the Caribbean, and I was in awe of how beautiful they were. I bought a print of a painting of one and had it framed, and I hung it on my wall. Now they're hated. Except as ceviche.

Ditto on the butterflyfish here in Florida. Very common, yet I smile when I see them. Also seahorses. I can watch them forever.
