I once asked my instructor during my drysuit course to look at my exhaust valve, that there may be an issue with it. Ha came over and as he started to examine it heasked what the issue was. I told him I'd just farted and wanted him to see if he could detect it.

You're one lucky dude! My instructor would have just cut my airhose and left me to die. But then, I could drop down through my neckseal and gone "methox". It would be difficult to find my way, but no more than the usual "braille" dives dives down this way with our lack of 'viz'.

We should set up a new acronim for this post. As the rather expanding posts of verbal diarrea keep going with mask on the forehead etc:

FIDS: Fart in Dry Suit
FIWS: Fart in Wet Suit
STFIS: Smelled the Fart in Suit
PAWHS: Pulled a WarHammer....Sorry
:rofl3:

PAWHS. We must honor those who literally 'blazed' the trail.

What about reverse blocks??

What about reverse blocks??

Reverse blocks indeed! I pity the fool who opens a back entry drysuit for a buddy only to witness Boyle's Law of Methane first hand.

It has never bothered me and I have done it at over 70' its just a matter of the other divers watching the bubbles escape from your feet as you do a hand stand.

I was reasonably sure I didn't need to see the famed Warhammer manuever...lol...after seeing the pic...I can now say I wish I hadn't seen it...lol.
