I have always been interested in sharks since I was young (before my teens) and great whites being my favorite. Was interested in a dive off the Farallon's to after seeing reading about it and seeing a show on it years ago. I stumbled on this place....

Would also like to know if you've gone and if so how it was.
 
From what I understand there is no more chumming @ the Farallons and therefore the trips use decoys to attract the sharks. If you do get to see sharks it is often a quick glimpse and then they lose interest. There are probably better times of year to go but I cant recall when.

I believe other places Guadalupe, etc are still using chum and have better success rates. I think it may even be the same charter company but different time of year.

I have heard from a couple people who went more than once and didnt even get to see any sharks....
