fingers cross it keeps improving over the next few weeks

Come on.....you have a Yank coming thousand of miles......get that water up to about 28c or 82f and about 60' to 100' vis....she will appreciate it:D

28C

according to the global warming threads that gonna take a few more years to happen ;)

but the good thing is, by then where we live (seven hills) we're gonna have water views :multi:

What is the water temp? I've heard conflicting reports. I thought it was 82F but someone told me 77F. Brrrr.

I know the northern part where you are going the waters are warm...been there 3 times....but down by the Sydney....I've heard (i've never been there) just like Socal....very cold.

Thanks. I have my 5mm and I'll bring my hooded vest, 3mm at the core 5mm on the hood. It's a little snug but my mates can help me off and on with it.:rofl3:

5mm?:11:....you are a brave woman......I was freezing in Wakatobi and that water was 80 degrees but of course I wear only a 1mm shorty....I did get a .05mm fullsuit for my upcoming Lembeh and Raja trip....hopefully that may be warm enough if I hit some cool 80 degree water.

Actually, I bought the 5mm for the 80 degree water. I got cold in Florida in a 3mm when the waters were 82. But it could have been because I had a little bug. Some days I was cold, other times I wasn't.

I can't bring 2 suits because of weight restrictions, but if I have 8mm on my core with the suit and the vest, I think I'll be OK.

we wear 5mms in sydney.... hubby dives in one all year round but i just got a drysuit for winter

you'll be fine.......... :multi:
