I'm definitely going to get steels to replace my aluminum 80s.

Most of my diving is rather shallow and 80s are plenty big enough.

So I can get 2 new Faber Hp 80's delivered for $468.

Time to click the order button?

You can buy used 72's for $30-45. I prefer them to AL80's. They are so cheap cause everyone considers them old antiquated LP cylinders. Helps to have a shop that will fill to 2800-3000, or your own compressor.

Very good. I'm buying two Faber 10.5 L 85s this week. All shops can fill all tanks.

HP80s are pretty small, take a look at HP100 which have become the defacto std steel. Same form factor as an AL80 but more gas and better buoyancy.

I would say a LP85 double would be ideal.
