forget it chippy old boy... i've tried... nada... but EXD is made by OMS and looks to be pretty sturdy overall...

of course i can also tell you it sucks real large lemons since i want axua's rig too but you beat me to it (cash wise) hahahahahahaha

seriously though, i've asked and it's a good brand naman daw

thanks jag. I like it - I'm into the whole KISS principal and it definitely follows that.

The only complaint I have about it is that the purge is at the bottom, not at the top of the bladder. Actually, that's a bad complaint cause I could just position myself looking down to release the air.

that's a nice observation... i was a tad worried about that myself since when using a jacket i rarely used the inflater hose to deflate (raise above head, tilt a bit to left, press)... i'd diddle the dump valve on my shoulder

but it was not a prob for me with the exd... since the shape's just a simple oval the air escaped very easily from a raised hose... and i'd sink faster than when in a jacket... if i needed to dump, i'd just tilt head-down a bit and dump... didn't experience any probs with the location of the dump nor hose

personally i'd reco against an inflator pull-dump unit though... vannie's friend's (you met him at aquav cleanup) broke his BC when the inflator hose came off because of the pull dump thingee...

question though... i only did shore entries when i used the bp/w... how much harder/easier is it to gear up on a bangka? any issues?
