What does Raxafarian's car have to do with all this :)

it's 20 years old :)

drips oil
drips antifreeze
fanbelt squeels
airco compressor locks up
has no traction
burns oil

CT sends me a tax bill... I think they'd save money by not printing it and mailing it to me.

by the way... anyone want to buy a used chevy? I'm in the market for a new used car... maybe a nice big economical cadillac or lincoln.

It'll have to be a convertible, though! :) Just too bad they don't make those non-biodegradable cheeseburger containers anymore...

you might be able to get those over in europe...not that that matters 'cause it's us that have the bomb.

Aaron, just take a deep breath and know that the excise tax happens to all MA residents. It'll probably make you feel better if you knew what I pay...

Okay, so now back to the Raxmobile bashing...

I know it happens to all MA residents. That annoys me even more. If it was a one time thing because I transfered my car into the state, I'd be pissed, but I'd at least take comfort in the fact that I only have to pay once. I'm also happy that it is prorated, as my actual tax would be around $350-400 since I only registered my car in October. I just don't understand how people in this state tolerate this kind of unjustified taxation.

Since moving MA six months ago, I've been extremely disappointed by many of the idiotic laws revolving around motor vehicles, including insurance, registration, and taxation. There is a reason why all the major insurance companies will insure in every other state except MA and NJ and it ain't because of the number of claims. The way the state deals with insurance rates and claims is different from the way everyone else does it. Is there a good reason?

Taxachusetts it is.

Driving your car off the pier into the Boston harbor. If you do it while wearing scuba gear - Presto! Instant wreck diving! :mean:
