I am staying at the Excellence Riviera Cancun neart Puerto Morelos from 4/27 to 5/2 and I've read some reviews online that aren't very good about the beach/water in front of the hotel. Anyone stayed there before that could comment further about it? I wouldn't think that the beach right in front of this hotel would be any different than the rest of the beaches in Puerto Morelos and have heard good things about both the beaches and the diving elsewhere. I was really looking forward to spending a lot of time out in the water near the hotel free diving and relaxing. Thanks in advance for the info.
