Equipment Identification

I'm curious to know what people use to mark their equipment.

What works best on all the different surfaces? (e.g. wetsuit, mask, fins, etc.)

Oops - found the related threads. Looks like paint pens are the preferred tool of choice.

on marking my gear i find that a hole punch werks well for the fins a round hole in the fin tip dosent seem to bother the performance of the fin my hood has my name in white letters on the outside so people know who i am when they look at me i
i use plastic wire ties of different colors on the reg and well with the patches on the wetsuit from sea urchant harvesting no one wants my wetsuit hahaah
