Hi, I am trying to find a online place where to buy an enviromental kit for my Cousteau/SEA first stage. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Here in Chile we have very different climates (since this country is so long), normally I would dive in 51°F to 55°F but as soon as I go a little souther, temperatures drop below 50°F, specially in deep locations.

Well, I hope someone could give me a hint.

Thanks!!!

Good luck with that. Here in the US, Aqualung won't sell parts to normal humans. We are not their "customers". If you find someplace, shoot me a PM. :)

Mmmm, not too happy to hear that... If is not in the US, less chances to find it over here...

Any Aqua Lung dealer should be able to get it for you, but he/she probably wants to also install it for you for a fee. It should not cost too much just to install it and if you combine the labor during regulator service they might just do it for the price of the parts.

Here in the US, Aqua lung restricts the sale of parts and they claim it is due to liability, but I don't know if that is the case in other countries.

I have purchased and converted all my Conshelf with the same environmental kit and it works well.

Buena suerte

LuisH which kind of environmental kit: the dry or the silicone oil one?

I have a silicone oil environmental kit I don't want.

I don't like the liquid filled environmental kit either.
The newer dry environmental kit with the rigid pressure transferring push rod seems to work great and is very easy to open it to adjust the IP and just close it back up (no mess).

The dry environmental kit is the same as for the Titan and several other regulators.

At some point I have been meaning to set up an IP gauge that I can take underwater to check and see if there is much variation on IP at depth due to the dry chamber.

In this thread you can see one of my Conshelf modified with the dry environmental kit. It is the alternate regulator (on the right) on picture 7 and 8.

Does it mean that all environmental kits for aqualung regulators are the same?

I did a little digging and it appears that the same environmental kit works on the TITAN, COUSTEAU SEA, CONSHELF SE3 SE2 SE3 SE2 Supreme and CONSHELF 22, 21, 20, XIV and XIV Supreme.
Hope this helps

Thanks, It was going to take me a little while before I was going to be able to search for it. That is what I suspected.

Thanks to all for the information.... now starts the adventure of finding one...
