Yeah they say that those that do usually can afford too the least

Chuckles, you could always just come cold water dive in Canada. Pot is legal up here, recreational too.
I crossed the border into Canada one day at 4 a.m. and stopped for gas. A Canuk on the other pump welcomed me to Canada and gifted me a dime bag of weed.

Customs at Cancun and Cozumel are pretty strict—I've seen folks get searched just for over-the-counter meds. I wouldn’t risk bringing anything that could raise eyebrows, prescription or not.

Medical weed isn’t really a thing in Cozumel, so your relative will probably need to figure out another way to manage.

I’ve heard of people traveling with CBD capsules that have a tiny bit of THC—they look like regular vitamins and blend in with other meds.If they’re into smoking, places like Kisin are solid for picking up gear locally. Personally, I’ve grabbed stuff online from smokeday.com before a trip—it’s cheaper and saves the hassle of hunting for decent pieces on the spot.

Good to hear thanks.

Of course there is medical and then there is ”medical”. If your usage is “medical” I would strongly encourage you to give it a rest for your stay in Mexico.

Great thanks for the tip

but don't they give you free accommodation, for a while, and Mexican food
is it called Mexican food over there or do they just call it food

I’ve brought CBD products to Mexico before without any trouble, but Cozumel’s stricter enforcement lately has me rethinking things. For THC specifically, be really careful—even small personal amounts can cause big problems. If you’re looking for something legal to manage symptoms instead, you might want to look into bulk thcv isolate, which doesn’t fall under the same restrictions and could be a safer option to bring.

Yes!

as on the grass you relinquish control and those where control is already lacking may find themselves in trouble
