The to-do list for a Red Sea liveaboard:
*Say your final goodbye to your loved ones and friends.
*Take out a very high limit life insurance policy so your family is taken care of.

Better yet, if people stop going to the Red Sea on a liveaboard, the operators will go out of business. Why don't we all put them out of business? Why give your tourist dollars to operators who have no interest in safety?

Exactly. We're done with the Red Sea. One of the guys caught up in the Seven Seas tragedy told me the only thing he (and others) escaped with was his life and his phone!

I’m sure an Egyptian LOB owner will be along any minute to remind us this is all within statistical tolerance and to just get out there and enjoy all the safe boats and professional crews.

Lots of photos of fried fish and computers with 100m bounce dives get me super excited, too.
