Found this floating just under the surface. It looked like a giant slinkey made up of spiral strings of eggs.

Cool! They look like eggs to me, (esp cause they're pink) but they could also be some sorta squidgy fishy thing, too. I am looking forward to hearing the experts chime in on this one!
maractwin:It's an egg mass from an open ocean squid. It's a gelatinous sac, with the eggs embedded in the inside surface.
