Editing

Can I only edit in a thread once? I am an OP for a thread announcing a group dive and I'd like to keep the first post current with updates, but the edit button seems to have disappeared on me.

You can only edit for so long...I'm not sure what the time limit is, but I think it's a day.

Otherwise you have to get a Mod to make changes for you, or just make additional posts to update.

I'm sure El Orans or someone will be along to tell you what the time limit is.

AFAIK editing(by OP) can be done within 24h.
After that just ask any Mod.to do it for you.

BTW.You can allways QUOTE your self and add more info.And then edit some more.

All posts have a time limit (in minutes) to impose on editing of messages. After this time limit only moderators will be able edit or delete the message. Currently set to 24 hours.
