Early Xmas - my new Perdix AI

So I received my new Shearwater Perdix AI. I'm so in love with it, wearing it around the house and everything. Family wonders if I stole from under the Xmas tree. Thought I'd share the love and upload some pics for the sake of gear porn.

Sweet, isn't it. I bought mine in the middle of the summer. I'm on my second battery.

Actually, it is my third battery but battery #2 was only used for one day. Borrowed a dollar store battery from someone on the boat. Turns out a zinc chloride battery looks just like an alkaline battery but they are way less stable and tend to blow up in sealed devices. Glad I only used that for one day.

I just did the same and bought one today with the transmitter. Actually found it for 10% off MSRP and got a tour of Shearwater from Bruce Partridge right before I picked it up.

Pretty cool way to get a great dive computer.

Jammed out of work to do it too.
