I've always had trouble equalizing my ears. I don't have ear problems, I just have a hard time to clear them.

So, a couple questions for all of you.

Is there anything I can take to loosen them up before I go in the water diving?

Has anyone ever used the ProEar 2000 mask, and does it help at all while equalizing underwater?

Anyone that can help, please help!

I really need to dive!

Try doing a search on this site for the Pro ear 2000. There are several threads about that mask and how it works and if it helps. many of the threads involve on of the inventors of the pro ear 200. The search button is at the top of the page.

Take your time descending and equalize early and often. I think I recall people indicating that the more experience they gained diving the easier it got to equalize their ears.
