I been back from diving for about 3weeks...but my right ear just refuse to equalise.
Here is some background: was in tioman,1st dive went down, equalised on surface and descended. at around 15m ,i equalised again, but right ear refused to equalise, after 5mins of trying,i managed to get it equalised...dive went on without any trouble, but i couldnt equalise properly when i got below 28m. Came up and found my mask bloody, but ears were okay, nose was bleeding. The 4 dives after that had no problems at all, onli trouble was that i cannot equalise my right ear on the surface. Can someone help me?

Hey Dive lover

sounds to me like you have a blocked ear to be honest.
Same problem I had when I first started. The more i dived the worse it got, it actually got to the stage where it hurt really bad. Best thing is go to your local doc and have him check your ear canals. You may need to get some drops to clear the wax etc, or he may do it for you. If you go to an ENT they will probably do a better job yet may cost a little bit more.
