Hi I just completed the online portion of the EANX coarse that included all modules and a test at the end. What is left is a practical portion of the coarse which consists of hands on testing of the mix with analyzer and a additional 12 question review of the coarse material and either a two tank EAN dive or simulation. I gave already paid the 200.00 for the online coarse. What should I expect to pay at the shop for the last part? The shop I called said 200.00 does that sound right?

OK, since it is Free Market the dive shop can set the price at what the market bares. 200 seems a bit steep to me if you opt for the simulation. The additional costs are:
1. Instructors time
2. Certification Envelope and pictures

3. Mailing Costs
4. Misc....

If you listed the shop when you signed up for E-learning they have received approx 50% of the course fee's. If you did not then they receive nothing.

Cheers,
Roger

depens on what agency you took the class with..We use SDI and PADI online nitrox course materials. Student pays for online, aligns with the LDS, and once completes online requirements sets an appointment with our staff and is done. No additional charge .
