The vis was a stunning 7-8 ft at times, min water temps about 60-61 F, mild current at times. Despite these "less than stellar" conditions a great time was had by all... thanks to the great company.

Thanks. Trying to figure out how the conditions are going to be this weekend at the dive park.

Based on our dive there yesterday, don't expect much in the way of vis but other than a little current we did have fun diving there.

If the Santa Ana's kick back in, pass and go another day.

Did somebody say party?? I'll be there!!

Kimbur! It was wonderful to meet you :hugs: Please call when you're in town and I'll come out to meet you for drinks or dinner or BOTH!

Yup, very fun!

:D Yes, but since my attention was on the mind numbing cold, the lack of viz wasn't something I noticed. I thought the dives were great!

BRRRRrrrrr. 13 minutes into the first dive and my hands went numb. Good. Now I can stop thinking about them and enjoy the dive. It lasted another 12 min. The second dive was 35 minutes and the third ended at 40 minutes... a pretty good day :)

Thank you everyone! Dave, Marian, Elena, Brian, Sam, Dr. Bill and Don. You all contributed to my first cold water dives and made the experiences the best!

I look forward to seeing some of you on Thursday.

So we technically "popped" your cold water dive cherry...:shocked2:

OMG... look at the twins in their fancy East Coast hats! Well, "East Coast girls are hip, I really dig those styles they wear" (even if they balk at riding in the Dr. Bill Mobile and my trusty (or is it crusty) old Toyota Tercel! I think Sam and Carmen finally understand that Dr. Bill isn't kidding when he says he is a dive bum!

Hope you had great fun in La Jolla today all.

It sure was good to see Dr Bill and Dave & Marian again, and to meet Sam and Carman, Brian, Elena :)
And thanks for waiting on me to make that last dive with you .... I swear, it takes me longer to get in that drysuit than my 7mm wetsuit! :shocked2:

Hey Sam .. wanna throw some peanut shells on the floor? :D
Dr Bill .. thanks for being the islands welcome host once again
What a fun time, hope you come back out so you can see the kelp forest when it's not "snowing"

Special thanks to Raul and the staff at the Seaport Village Inn for once again going out of their way helping to get us, and our gear, to where we needed to be, Thank you

Don - The peanut shells was truly one of the great highlight of my time on Catalina. I've been flinging food on the restaurant floors post-Antonio's. :rofl3::rofl3:

We did two dives today in Wreck Alley, The Yukon and The Ruby-E.

Ah, Wreck Alley... I still haven't dived the Yukon or the Ruby E.

Glad you "guys" had a good time down there.
