I never bring my own to catalina only because I don't want to carry it from the ferry to the point! I need a dive box....

Okay, I'll reserve a 6:15 ferry from long beach. Which ferry are we taking back?

We will reserve a spot on the last ferry (7:30) and if we feel like leaving early, exchange the tickets on-island for the earlier boat (3:45).

Dive park conditions indicate 30-40 ft vis, fairly calm seas (even for the leeward side). I won't dive til this weekend so will post a brief report here then.

Dr. Bill, are you diving the park this weekend? I'm contemplating going over sat/sun with Charles and we'll be on the Neptune on sunday.

Depending on conditions, Brian. They are forecasting rain and I don't want to get wet (tee hee). I do need to get in to sample a few kelp blades for Spirorbis worms, bryozoa and other encrusters.

Hey Hey now...I resemble that remark. This FL gal just hit the 1 yr mark in SoCal!!!

Brrrr....I bitched when the Speigel Grove dropped to 72 deg...last year I never saw warmer than 68...God is getting back at me....


Is it too late to join this auspicious occasion?
