BILLB:
Thanks Gunszer. I have a shelter too and a propane heater. Electricity is hard to come by at Dutch.

I have two generators I can bring, what do we need to power?

Little one is 1,100 watts and will do crockpot, blower on heater etc.

bigger one will run a small house.

I also have a torpedo propane heater which heats a tent better than a radiant propane heater.

Let me know what you want me to bring.

BILLB:
I will be diving on 22 Feb. only.

Any other instructors out there we could meet up with for Saturday the 21st.

I'd also be interested in going on the 21st if we can find a willing instructor.

Frank

My delayed scuba class encountered scheduling conflicts, so I MAY be available for Saturday and Sunday. I have to clear this with the BOSS. Should know by this weekend.

Im game for the 22d

Cool.... lets coordinate infrastructure stuff so we can have a comfortable warm setup.

Bill, sounds like you have a shelter, I'll bring enough power "generator" and fuel for anything we need to plug in, I'll also bring my torpedo heater.

It would be nice to have a table, some soup warming up while we dive etc.

I may have a crock pot I could bring, I'll have to see if I can find it.
(read that as if my wife can find it)

Nobody ever said diving in February had to be uncomfortable.

Where did you do dives at Vadim? Cool stuff, ain't it? Ice Diving rocks!

It was at the small lake in Wingdale, NY. the ice was solid 10". the water wasn't so cold, about 38F - 39F. Theoretically we all have been down to that kind of temp, but it's just way more drastic and psychological when you're sitting on ice with your feet in the ice-hole.

I might actually make to to DS this weekend of 22nd. I don't feel sick anymore...

oh, by the way, I finally ordered a set of doubles... which means I am getting rid of my OMS 125 steel tank (CLEAN! - just had the visual done last week). If anybody wants to buy off me, you can pick it up at Dutch on that weekend.
