It's been a few years, I think 2005 was when we stayed on Apo island for about 3 or 4 nights, I forget. Great diving, but I do recall, we were kinda 'nickeled and dimed' for alot of things, but I did not complain as I thought the diving was good and supposedly the money was going to the Marine Park as opposed to Al Gore's 'private airplane'. The term "Marine sanctuary" has a little different connotation in the Philippines as opposed to other countries, but we should save that for another thread, as I know many will have differences of opinion concerning that topic.
