I'm pretty settled on a DUI FLX50/50 for my next drysuit. I rented one last weekend, and found a stock large to fit well. Hooray!

But I'm trying to figure out undergarments now. The DUI Polartec Powerstretch that I rented was only marginally warm enough at the end of a 50 minute / 55 F dive. So I know it won't be warm enough when the water temperature drops into the 40s here (Monterey CA).

LDS suggests a Pinnacle Evolution (non-Merino) undergarment. Will that be warm enough? How does it compare to the DUI 400g?

Would I be too warm in the Pinnacle Evolution Merino (next step up)? How much bulkier and more buoyant is the Merino?

Any other undergarments you'd recommend for this suit/temperature combination?

I'm about average for cold tolerance, and would rather be slightly too warm than slightly chilled.

Thanks.
David
