Previously listed with undergarments. Trying to sell separately from those now.
After the last couple of years and much internal debate I have decided to give up cold water diving. If it's too cold for MAKO 5mm freediving suit, I don't want to do it any longer. As a result I am selling my Otter Brittanic II Telescoping Drysuit. It is a size large. Translates to fit me at 5'7" and 170 lbs. with a 29 inch inseam and there is some extra length in the legs and torso.
This suit will fit someone up to 5'9"-5'10"ish. I would however caution that it is a suit that is cut to not be baggy and it fits in the torso with 4th Element Xerotherm base and Arctic top layer. It is too tight for use with my much loftier Pinnacle Merino Evolution undergarment.
The suit has a few hundred dives on it, all in freshwater, and as a result has some stains on it. The seals have been cut to fit me so you might need to replace them.
The neck seal needs replaced as I discovered that it has deteriorated upon close inspection. The commercial grade latex wrist seals are ok.
The boots are well used and have some life left in them yet.
Last time I dived it there were no leaks and it was properly rinsed, allowed to dry, and stored in it's bag that doubles as a changing mat.
The pockets are Velcro with additional small zippered pockets on the flaps and placed slightly towards the front.
There is a Light Monkey balanced pee valve installed on the right leg that has been cleaned and sanitized.
It has the Apeks low profile inflator and dump valve. Both work as they should. See your instructor if you are not familiar with the Apeks design.
Suit will come with either a 36 inch inflator for back mount or 12 inch if you prefer for sidemount. The inflator is a standard LP connection.
This suit was designed for North Atlantic and English Channel wreck diving. It's a tough suit.
Otter changing mat/bag is included.
I'm also including the little prep kit I always carried in an old camera housing. A bottle of McNett seal saver and a small syringe with silicone grease for the zipper. With the YKK plastic zipper, you don't wax it. You put a small amount of the grease in the lower zipper docking point and close and open the zipper to lube it. I have never had a problem with it.
It will come with the original Otter hood. Add an XL size K01 hood for an additional $60.
This suit normally retails for around $2100 right now.
The K01 hood is now $155.00.
The Light Monkey pee valve is $95.00 plus installation cost.
I'm asking 510 for everything or 450 minus the K01 hood plus shipping via UPS ground insured. I'm guesstimating that would be around 50 bucks due to the bulk. CONUS only. I will ship overseas but it will be expensive!
I want to see this suit go to someone who will use it. Hence the drop in price.
Funds via paypal friends and family (no I'm not paying fees so F&F only), check to me(suit will ship when check clears), or USPS money order.
