MSUnderwater Divers
Registered
Well received my DSS Single rig friday. Took about 30 minutes getting everything adjusted to where I thought it should be. Got to dive it saturday being a safety diver for the local University class. It elicited more than a few inquiries and inspections. More than a few divers offered to "exchange BC's with me" for a dive so they could try it out. Honestly this rig is the easiest to get into and out of that I have ever tried out of the water and it supports the weight much better than a traditional Jacket BC so those long walks are much better. In the water it was like everyone said. My Avid BC was very comfortable in the water. The DSS BP/W I couldn't even tell it was there most of the time. And it was great being able to lay on my back and look at the sky on the surface like a favorite old recliner while waiting for students to surface. No face down tendencies that I could detect. I also didn't need any weight other than the bp in fresh water and 3mm full. The short inflator hose was slightly weird to me until I got to use it in water then it all made sense.
Anyway the point of this long post is simply this: Tobin you got it right as far as I'm concerned, your BP/W setup Rocks. You'll definitely get my business in the future.(And anyone that I can convince too).
