Second the recommendation about Divers Warehouse. Crappy website but great prices.

No, The ATX40 comes with the same DST (or swivel Turret first stage) as the ATX50.I think that the DS4 is the default first stage if you get an ATX40 set.
The US in US4 is unsealed, and the DS in DS4 is for dry sealed. The unsealed versions are obviously not overbalanced due to the lack of a hydrostatic pressure transmitter.BTW, does anyone know what a US4 is? Looks like a DS4 minus the enviromental seal. I've seen these lately an ebay (first stages only) with "buy it now" prices in the $120 range
yknot:Send Bob3 a PM. I think he's traveling about the country as we speak and it may take a bit for him to respond but Bob's prices on the Apeks regs were at leaset $50 less than LeisurePro's. I got a DS4 first stage earlier this year and it was about $150 + shipping (US $$). I think that the DS4 is the default first stage if you get an ATX40 set. The ATX50 will be basically the same reg except that there is a swivel in the first stage and the ATX50 and higher second stages are fully adjustable while the ATX40 seconds aren't. BTW, does anyone know what a US4 is? Looks like a DS4 minus the enviromental seal. I've seen these lately an ebay (first stages only) with "buy it now" prices in the $120 range.
The design is identical, the only difference is the US4/UST has ambient water applying pressure directly to the diaphragm instead of through the plastic rod.rescuediver009:The unsealed versions are obviously not overbalanced due to the lack of a hydrostatic pressure transmitter.
So what do you figure you paid each for them with shipping, any duty, etc? Would also wonder if there are any other import tax issues coming into the US rather than Canada. Either way-great price for the DS4 first stages. Bob3's prices were still $50 or so less for a complete reg set, ATX50/100/200. Have you seen any great prices on ATX second stages anywhere?Boogie711:Yeah - the website sucks. I ordered a pair of DS4's from them, they charged me $25 for shipping and they arrived 3 days later via FedEx. The VAT came off automatically, and it actually worked out to slightly less than what they claimed. The reason they won't give you a precise price is because they charge in British Pounds, not US Dollars, so it depends on what the exchange rate is at the time of the transaction.
My DS4's were actually sequentially numbered, even. Pretty cool.
