Hello... I have a 5 mil crushed neoprene drysuit that I shall be taking to Scapa Flow, where I can expect temperatures of about 10C/50F.

I'd like to buy some undergarments someplace in the states, as I am here for the next week or so. Ideally in New York City.

Can you recommend any online dive supply shops, also, as i need to get things line SMB, compass, flashlight.

TIA
Toby

at 50F with your 5mm neo, you shouldn't really need much underneath. I'd wear some poly undergarments, with some sweat pants and a long sleeve cotton shirt. You'll be sweating!

The great feature of a well designed undergarment is it’s ability to wick expelled moisture away from the body in order to keep temperatures normalized in a wide range of environments. Diving in Lake Tahoe I see temperature ranges from 40 to 65 F. Northern Diver has a nice undergarment that I find comfortable for this entire range in the 200 thickness. I wouldn't mind having a 100 for long days with students at 20' where the temp can creap up above 65 in the summer. Take a look at

Though made in the UK, it might be worth a call to them and see if there is an LDS that stocks them in your area. Much less expensive than many of the alternatives and still a real performer.
