Hello, I recently made some massive repairs to a used drysuit and am looking for advice, It is a really old tls(I believe 350 se? It is blue with a back zip, and the seals are glue in instead of zipseals) anyhow in hopes to save money I replaced the zipper and neckseal, and will soon repair the wrist seal all on my own, so far ive got about 480$ in total in it since I did everything myself. The company I got the new neckseal from gave me one slightly too big, because the charts were a bit misleading for sizing, at first I thought they would not send me a new one, but they did, Yesterday I dove the suit and stayed mostly dry, I had some dampness on the outside of the undergarment but it was pretty good, there were a few times air came out of my neckseal during the dive, so I know a bit of water came from there, and I used silicone lubricant to aboid regluing the dump/inflator on the drysuit temporarily, so some water got through there but just a little bit, I have the rtv silicone and will glue thoes in properly soon, but could not find a youtube video showing the best method so I came here to ask, also I want to ask if it is worth trying to replace the neck seal since it leaks a bit, If I knew they were going to send a new one I would have waited on gluing it, now im worried about damaging my new zipper or the suit if I replace the neck seal I just installed, any advice would be appreciated, Thank you.

the dump and inflator do not need to be glued in, did you already try a new gasket ring?

if you are burping air out of the neck seal while the suit is not overly inflated then yes you should replace the neck seal

It depends, I have a neoprene neck seal and if it is not properly fitted as it should be there is air burping from it

Response to the two above: It is a latex neck seal, I use the bioseal thing with it to try to make it work better, also the dui drysuit valves do get glued in with rtv silicone
