I have been drysuit shopping here lately and have noticed a problem. I have a big ass and big thighs. I have been looking mostly at the trilam suits and would really prefer one to any other kind, but they are all extremely tight in the hips and thigh area so much so that I can hardly lift my leg with no undergarments on. Are there any out there built for people with thunder thighs or and I going to have to do a crushed neoprene type suit?

Hi,

I would rsuggest doing some research into the Whites Fusion......

Cheers,

Justin

You might have to have a suit custom built to your measurements.

I agree with Ron, I have odd sizing also (short & a bit on the heavy side). I got a custom suit & absolutely love it. To wear a stock sized suit that would fit my girth, they are much too long in the arms & legs because they are typically manufactured for those about 6'2" & I'm only 5'6". That extra length is a real drag in the water- literally. I got a custom suit & can't say a bad thing about it. For me it's the only way to go right now. I will admit, I've never tried the Fusion. I was offered to "test drive" (or is that dive?) one, but circumstances didn't allow me to. I would like to try it, just to see what it will do. My only question about it would be the durability of it, as I am becoming interested in cave & cavern diving.

Spend a little extra and get it custom sized. For such a large investment, the added cost will be money well spent.
