I was wondering if anyone on the board knows where i can train or take a class to learn how to fix and/or repair drysuits and scuba equipment. I live in Minnesota so somewhere close would be good. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at stpehnehamre@yahoo.com with any info or links you may have. Again, this is a great board and i love all the interesting topics..... :dazzler1:

Have you taken a drysuit class? They teach basic repairs. Beyond that, I'd talk to your local shop. My shop in michigan offers an "equipment specialist" course. Perhaps yours has something like that?

Oops, I did just look up and see the standard equip specialist course is just an 'intro to your equipment' kinda dealie in 6 hrs. Our shop offers a 2 day intensive program--service a regulator and such. I haven't taken it but I've heard it's quite good. If you're ever in Michigan :)...

Your local LDS might have some educational opportunities.
In the meantime try the DUI Drysuit Repair document for some common information.
