Hey guys, I need some help.

I got a seaskin with glued on latex wrist seals. It was easy to attach my rolock system and all was well. Fast forward a year and my latex seals wore out so I tried to replace them and learned that I would need to send them to get unglued and replaced.

I opted to reach out to a shop known for excellent drysuit alteration and repair and ask them to fit my suit with replaceable seals.

I sent them my suit and dryglove system and they swapped the glued seal for PU rings. The rolock dryglove ring slots right in. They didn’t not however give me seals. I ordered some new seals and attached them to the ring and now I cannot get the pieces to fit together. Without the seal the cuff system snaps in place and is good and solid but the moment I add the seals it can’t fit and after a LOT of effort I can get them in most of the way but the latex bunches up and prevents it for seating correctly.

I have tried everything from clamps to soapy water to calling the shop. Once I finally got them mostly fitted I tried the suit on and my hands immediately popped the seals out of the suit.

I’ll attach pics of what I have below. Am I doing it wrong or are the pieces just not compatible? If not, what is my quickest and most reliable solution?

Thank you all for the help!
