not sure really if this goes here or not but i have a question. ok i am makeing a site on the dive sites of the dry tortugas for a class. i was woundering if anyone here knew of a site were i could find information on them and all.

Wow... This will be a good thing as I don't think there is a web site or book that covers the dive sites of the Tortugas.


Try contacting the people who run the Tortugas dive charters. The Ultimate Getaway out of Ft. Myers and the Playmate out of Key West. (I think they are about the only ones that do scheduled charter boats to the Tortugas.)

just a quick update for those of you who wanted to know how the site was going. i have got a couple of the links up and working and am still work on some others. should be geting the information on the dive sites any day now and onces i have that information i will make a flash movie with it all and it will like let you pick a spot in the water and then zoom in on it and then text will apper telling you about the dive site. it will look really cool when it is all said and done. once that is done all i have to do is work on the contacts page and that wont take to long. so i am expecting a launch date of about the 18th of this month or so. so by then the site should be up and ready for you guys to take a look at and tell me what you think of it. ( please when you do see it and give feedback be honset because changes will be made based on what you tell me.)

The Lonely Planet Diving & Snorkeling Florida Keys covers some of the dive sites in the Dry Tortugas.
