Does anyone know of good dry caving in Texas in wild caves? (wild as in un altered without concrete and cave destruction by "commercial" modification) I visited an old time hole from back in the day over the weekend and it re sparked my interest for crawling through the caves when I can't get to spots to swim through them, I've checked into a grotto that meets at REI but it appears to be more of a "buddy club" then more of an organized grotto with planned trips and such, I really don't have the time to socialize to get to know people before they will tell me about their "spots" so does anyone know anyone willing to tell where they go or know of a group(s) that plan organized trips to wild caves or whatever whatever to just get into them? In WV I just always drove up to the cave and went in, but in TX I do not know their locations, any stats on the cave, or the land owners, thanks in advance for any information that gets me underground.

One of the guys I work with does caves. I will ask him tomorrow. I think one of the DMC at SIS does dry caves also. I might have some infomation for you tomorrow.

cool, are they public access caves? any rope work required for any of them?

Airman's cave is open to the public. It is a quite the committment once you enter just so you know. For the other 2, you would need to get access.
