Yes, but the amount per dive would change for Everyone who isn’t Mexican, not just the non Americans...which was the initial point!

What difference does that make? If the price of a dive in pesos happened to change at the same rate as the US$ to peso exchange rate, the price to US citizens would stay the same. That's all the dive shops are doing, and they have the right to change their prices if they want to. They could just as easily post their prices in pesos and change them constantly as the exchange rate changes. If it makes you happy, convert the dive price to pesos and figure out how many Canadian dollars that is. You'll end up in the same place.

The vast majority of Cozumel divers are US citizens. The Cozumel dive shops cater mostly to US citizens. It's not a coincidence.

Just so you will know, Aldora paid Dive Professionals in US Dollars ( or peso equivalent) at least when I was there--and I expect that has continued.

The entire world is going to become COVID free in June. A vaccine will be made tomorrow and it will be 100% effective. We will all go back to a completely normal life. Don't ruin my dream please.
(Yes, I am a much more realistic person with all the fears, anxiety, etc like many of you)

i think you need to go back and read my post with the pricing examples. as you can see, if they did that, your cost today would be less and so would mine. doing it the way they currently do it, your cost is the same but mine increases. why is this so hard for people to understand ? just because some do not understand, does not make the arithmetic incorrect.
