Interested in treatment options to prevent corrosion if I start using my rig in salt water.

It's the bg174 regulator and I'm concerned about potential mixed metals.

Rule of thumb for aftercare or PTFE treatment?

Thanks for rehashing a common topic.

they are made to go in salt water rinse them the way your instructor showed you in your ow class

Glad to hear it. Does make sense with the engineering genius that went into the unit. Understandably, I wasn't able to find any reference to salt water use in the manuals since it isn't the intended environment.

What do you recommend in the way of lube?
