bummer, can't play any of the vids there .. something about "file not found" and that's after the commercial plays :(

... Fixed it! .. changed the player from Real Player to Windows Media Player (thanks scvdiver) ... It works now!

Congrats Dr Bill

Excellent work, Dr. Bill with what little I saw of you. I'm sure the 30 min segment will be even better. I especiallly enjoyed the lobstering bit. Who did the hunting and at what time? I'm not going to even ask where. Did you or the hunter share with the Weather Channel guy, because it looked like there were plenty of bugs where it was filmed.

Good meeting you this past Saturday, Bill. I enjoyed talking to you about video cams and housings and am glad to hear of your Weather Channel debut! :)

It seems they used some of Ron Moores footage as well, so a banner day for Catalina shooters!

Cheers,

Bill

Good job DrBill

If any of my SoCal friends can tape this, I'd greatly appreciate it since I don't have cable.

You know you're a hardcore diver when you'd rather pay for diving than cable...

Hmmm... why did you think that? Were there any credits? As far as I know, the only footage they used on the kelp forest segment was mine. Perhaps they used some of Ron's on the lobstering segment (I don't hunt bugs, I just eat them) so as far as I know they didn't use any of my footage in that segment. I will check though since I "gave" them some lobster footage along with the rest.

I don't know what segment his footage was on, but he told me on Sunday that he'd also sold them some. I assumed it was for the same show, but Ron didn't mention what segment.

Cheers,

Bill

I just saw the lobster diving segment and it did indeed feature Ron! He never even mentioned he was involved. I assume the bug hunting footage was his. I haven't done any bug hunting since 1975... way before I dove with anything but a Nikonos!

I just had the WC on and I caught the words scuba diving. I turned up the sound and saw Dr. Bill featured on the short segment on diving at Catalina Island. Too bad you couldn't correct the guy who was all set to go out with his "googles". :)

Kudos!

Marc
