What hose routing do people use for Dive Rite RG2500 regs? Any pix?:

right post (primary) -- 7' or 5' hose for primary reg and wing inflator
left post (secondary) -- secondary reg and spg (and dry suit if used)

It will look a lot like this:

the only difference you will have is the turret, face them out with the LP hoses off it - and you are set

The above routing is pretty common. Also, some folks move the inflator LP hose to the other stage, leaving the primary LP solo on it's own 1st stage.

If you are taking tech or cave training, your instructor will be making suggestions based on their preference.

The above is how I set up my doubles. Basiclly DIR. I also can't say that I remember having seen anyone with both the LP inflator and the drysuit inflator on the left post. Seems to me if you had a 1st stage failure you loose all means of adjusting for boyancy.

do you put the octo hose in front or behind the inflator hose? (when i was diving last time, some tech divers at the resort told me most people put it in front, yet the picture in GUE's 'dress for success' has it behind. - fig 39) Any reason for doing it one way over the other?

With a wet suit then? I wouldn't want both my "BCD's" on only one 1. stage if I have two!

I don't have good pics, but these should give you an idea of what I mean.

edit: the 1st stage is supposed to be the left post, and the hose running across is the octo hose.

Oh I see what you mean now!

It will have to depend on your wing as well.....wings that have the dump in the back/middle will need to have the secondary running under them (ie pic 2) so that when dumping the hose is not in the way. But for wings that have the dump on the side/front it makes no difference since there is no interfere that could cause an entanglement or restriction with the hoses crossing each other.

But really it comes down to in the end is personal preference and whatever works for you....there is no right or wrong way of doing it! :D
