I am sorry if this will sound basic..............

I am interested in setting up for double tank for my DR BP+RecWing. I know that RecWing is only appropriate for double setups for tanks with smaller diameter (eg. 6.9") and tanks will less negative buoyancy (eg. AL80). I am currently trying to find out what is the standard they use in Thailand.

While search for the information, I am trying to understand how do we set double tanks on BP+Wing. Do we need tank adaptors? What are the things we need.

Really need your input. Thanks alot in advance.

Ciao, :11:

You don't need a tank adaptor, the bands that secure the double have bolts throught them 11" apart. All you need is to wedge the wing between the double and BP with wing nuts.

yeah, what hyper-limits said

to hold the doubles together, you'll use two sets of bands. each set has a
screw that projects out from the tanks.

you secure your wing and your plate to those screws.

Since you indicate you're using Dive Rite equipment, you may want to check out the links available throught the Dive Rite Express web site and the Dive Rite web site. Both sites list contact info where you can e-mail or telephone your questions. There does seem to be a difference in tank sizes listed as suitable for the Trek wing on the Dive Rite Express web site vs. the Dive Rite web site.

I also find stabilizing plates helpful personally, but I use the TransPac II harness.
