I just don't log dives
initially planned on diving the bibb and then a reef, however, one of the 2 buoys was occupied. we then noticed zero boats on the duane(unheard of for a weekend day, both dives, no other divers!!), so we elected to start the day there. 2-3FT swells gave way to <1FT seas by the second dive, light winds, warm(80F) bright sunshine. DIVE #1: buoy D3(stern), minimal reverse current, particulate blue water, viz 60+, water temp a constant 77F @ 60-115 FT. great dive, fish life on steroids; sharks, permit, amberjack, horseye jacks, huge schools of grey/yellowtail snappers, goliath/black groupers, massive schools of baitfish; rainbow/blue runners and bar jacks. so much fun we moved to buoy D1(bow) for a double. #2: once again, particulate blue viz 60+, zero current(floated to the wreck without mooring line), 77F @ 60-100 FT. add to the previous list, a large hawksbill turtle that laid motionless on a deck for the entire dive. wide angle pics from TIMG,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for the share... Your pics are looking great!

I'm thinking somebody has got some powerful strobes to get color like that at that depth. Whew! Nice.

Richard.

Thank you Richard. I use 2 Ikelite 160 strobes, and today I was using a 10-17mm wide angle lens.

Great pix Tim, we were heading out but it became nice to late for us
