Unless it comes loose and gets draped behind you back, as it did in the diver drowning case that led me to switch.
 
Good for you. I had it constantly. I was always having to relocate that sucker, and I was always having to get my students to put their octos back into place.
Sounds like a case of "some improvement preferable" regarding the gear setup.

That's why I went to a long hose primary and a bungeed alternate. I know where each one is at all times.

This particular back and forth makes me ask the question: which system do you wish your buddy was using?

Works for you, works for me, but not necessarily for everyone else. For various reasons. There's more than one way to remove the pelt of a domestic feline.
