I hope the people and the diving industry recover quickly. Dominica is on my list of must-do dive places.

It was only 20 months ago (dec 2013) that Dominica got hit with a huge rainstorm and resultant floods.

The pictures are terrible and there are still many missing people. We stayed at Castle Comfort Lodge on Dominica - a lovely little resort - it looks like that area got hit by landslides but it has not been declared as a "special disaster area".

We stayed at Ft Young this past February and my heart is breaking seeing the devastation that Erika has brought. It is such a beautiful island both above and below. We traveled the whole island and everywhere we went everyone was very friendly and helpful. Praying that they make a speedy recovery.
