I usually take the opportunity to visit local maritime museums when I get "weathered out."

It makes me appreciate even more the experience I had at Anthony's Key in Roatan last year: storm rolled in - wind and waves were too much for the side of the island we were on. They chartered a bus and then sent the boats (with all our gear on them) to the other side of the island where it was better (not perfect, but manageable) and we didn't have to endure 2 hours of being pounded in the boat, we all got on the bus and had a pleasnat drive to the leeward side and met up with our boat to dive some of the sites we wouldn't have been able to go to otherwise. Those people know how to take care of their customers!

Even worse when you live there.

Even worse when you're 98 all out. :mooner:

Wow, that is good customer service. I will have to remember Anthony's Key in Roatan.

That is the customer service I look for and a business that should stay aflote due to customer loyalty.

Well we have a small boat of our own here. We (Zboss aka my brother, my son and I) swam out and did the reef in front of the house today. Vis was terrible, there was a bit of surge and swimming out in the rollers sucked. We did see some good stuff, cucumbers, arrow crabs, little things. Also saw two big lionfish and we found an anchor and bought it up. We will just make the best of it. That's what ya gotta do! The dive op on the island canceled their trips.
