I have a northern diver suit which fits about like that (in parts). Despite being a custom it fits like a barrel around me. Works fine for my local aquarium dives and as a spare. Its too awkward for serious outside diving IMO. I find the wrinkles trap alot of gas and make it both hard to vent and require more weight. Works ok for single tank stuff but not ideal for technical diving.

Yes, definetly looks too big. You should have perhaps gone with something in between sizes, like ML, not to make it too long.

This is how mine fits (and I was worried there for a while before I got the suit about excess material) this is with the undergarment, before I adjusted the suspenders and the crotch strap:

I figured it would be too big, as I'm on the very low end of the sizing for that particular size, but with the undergarment, I have complete range of movement, if it was a size smaller, I couldn't do it. I had problems with the size M because of chest and shoulder size, this is ML.

So, if I were you, I'd:
- return this suit for a smaller size
- plan for another suit when the 30lbs return

Yea and why is the OP wanting the 30lbs. to return???

likely it was muscle weight.

or he's santa - 'nobody likes a skinny santa...'
