Does the brand of tank you buy matter ?

The bouyancy is different and the catalinas tend to hang in a less streamlined position

It is more annoying than a show stopper by any means. You also need MANY stage/deco dives and excellent bouyancy skills to notice. Somebody new to it sure wont.

checked the tanks today when I got home. 2 are Catalina, 4 are Luxfer. All have Sherwood valves. Does that sound like a good combo? paid about 150 per tank.

Is Faber a good steel tank? I can get Faber LP 108's with PRO valves for about $275 each. Thats is with shipping included. I think this is about avg?
 
Yeah they are good, I have a couple.
