Does Gilboa freeze over?

The last two years, it went through a couple of brief freeze-overs. But, apparently this year it has stayed clear.
 
I dove twice in January and never saw any ice--of course it was really warm in January :) I've only ever heard of it freezing on two occasions and those were extremely cold winters. I think Mike's winter hours are 10am-4pm (maybe 5) on the weekends only.

It's been too warm this year for it to freeze. But it does as any inland water will if cold enough.
