TG7 freezing up

I got a brand new TG7 a couple of weeks ago. We used it on a dive trip to Lembeh, PT059 housing. After a few dives, TG7 started freezing up during dives. This happened several times in a row. The only way to recover was to unplug the battery. Obviously, not underwater, so this resulted in a few disappointing dives.

At first, I thought it could be the SD card, but the same card worked flawlessly in a TG6. TG7 is on the latest firmware, 1.1.

Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with an OMD-EM1 III. It turned out to be the battery.
Changing batteries and no more issues.

If a new battery does not resolve this, try resetting the system to stock.
