I'm going to work on the "Charleston Tug" next weekend, and I'd like to learn more about it's history. Does anyone know the real name of the vessel?

General vicinty? Couple of wrecks called that at diffent locations.

This one is just off the cost of Calabash, NC. OR NE of Myrtle Beach.

Tried SCDNR and elsewhere and couldn't find a name for it, sorry. Pretty far inshore so vis will be vary quite a bit.

Yes, I looked and looked. I've resolved to accept that like many tugs, it didn't really have a name, per se, but a number, and it has been forgotten to most.

Not a bad dive to learn wreck on, looking forward to the next dive on a new vessel - The Brian Davis off Wilmington.

Ask the group at discovery scuba in myrtle beach area, they dive it regularly I did a dive with them in june on that wreck

Charleston Hand Job?

i wonder how long this will stay up.
